Bread, cakes, meat and vegetables in the Education Restaurant. But — in another part of the training centre, a whole different sort of baking happens — in the kilns of the Ceramic Arts Workshop. These pots, bowls, cups, mugs and vases are inspired, hand-made works of art. Not only that. Each one is cleverly hand-painted in bright Timorese colours and motifs. Each is unique – and each has a story of its own to tell. Just like the makers of these visual treats.
