Knife skills are one of the most important parts of the culinary arts.  Here the students learn the basic skills of using a knife such as how to hold a knife, how to chop garlic, parsley and carrot; how to dice an onion, tomato and potato; how to slice a tomato or an apple.  Students also learn different types of knives and their purpose as well as how to maintain the knives clean and sharp.  Students also have an opportunity to learn basic fruit carving using apple and watermelons.
